Why Your Results May Differ From The Leader

The performance shown on each bot's charts reflects the average fill price per trade, aggregated across all users trading that bot. It is not the result of any single account. Because of that, your individual results will almost always differ from what the chart displays, and they may be higher or lower. Here are the main reasons why.

Timing and Execution

Even when you and everyone else follow the same signal, orders do not all fill the same.

  • Latency. There is a small delay between when a trade fires and when your order reaches your broker. In fast-moving markets, especially with 0DTE options, the price can move meaningfully in that gap.
  • Slippage. Market orders fill against whatever liquidity is available the moment your order arrives, not at the price someone else got a moment earlier.
  • Partial or missed fills. A limit order may fill only partially, or not at all, if the price moves past your limit before your order is filled.
  • When you joined the trade. If you started following a bot mid-trade, or your account connected after a position was already open, your entry point will differ.

Account Constraints

Your account's own settings and status can change which trades you take and how large they are.

  • Buying power and margin. If you do not have enough buying power for the full scaled position, it may be reduced or skipped.
  • Options approval level. Certain strategies require a higher options approval tier. If your account is not approved for them, those trades cannot be placed.
  • Unsettled funds. In a cash account, funds from recent sales may need to settle before you can enter a new position.
  • Existing positions. A position you already hold in the same symbol can affect or block a new one.

Broker Differences

Not everyone trades through the same broker, and brokers are not identical.

  • Execution and routing. Different brokers route orders differently, with different spreads and fill quality.
  • Fees and commissions. Commission and fee structures vary by broker and change your net results even when the fill price is the same.
  • Rejections and downtime. An order can be rejected, or a broker's connection can drop, causing a trade to be missed or delayed.
  • Trading halts and hours. Halts and differences in extended-hours support can affect whether and when your order fills.

Multi-Leg Strategies

For spreads and other multi-leg positions, each leg can fill at a different time and price, and combo orders can route differently from one broker to the next. This means the net credit or debit you receive on a spread can differ from the displayed average.

The Bottom Line

The chart gives you a representative picture of how a bot has performed on average across all of its users. It is a useful benchmark, but it is not a promise of what your account will do. Your results depend on your account, your broker, your timing, and market conditions at the moment your orders fill. Past performance does not guarantee future results.
