How Copytrading Works With PeakBot

How Copy Trading Works on PeakBot

PeakBot is a technology platform. We connect traders who share their trades ("partners") with users who choose to have those trades automatically placed in their own brokerage accounts ("subscribers"). We are not a broker-dealer, we do not hold or take custody of your funds, and we do not execute trades ourselves. Every order is placed through your own brokerage account, at your own broker, using a connection you authorize and can revoke at any time.

1. You choose a partner bot. Each partner on the marketplace publishes a strategy, the instruments it trades, its typical trade frequency, and its historical results. You decide which partner, if any, to follow.

2. You connect your own brokerage account. PeakBot currently supports Schwab, Tradier, tastytrade, Tradovate, and NinjaTrader. You authorize the connection directly with your broker. Your money stays at your broker. PeakBot never receives, holds, or transfers your funds, and cannot withdraw from your account.

3. You set your own trading parameters before anything trades. You define the capital you are willing to allocate, your position sizing, and any limits you want applied. PeakBot will not place an order outside the parameters you set. PeakBot does not choose the instruments you want to invest in, it does not choose your allocation for you and does not adjust it on your behalf.

4. The partner places a trade in their own account. Partners trade their own capital or post signals in their own channel. PeakBot detects that activity and translates it into an order instruction.

5. PeakBot submits the corresponding order to your broker. The order is submitted according to the parameters you set in step 3. Execution is handled entirely by your broker.

6. You stay in control. You can pause the bot, disconnect your broker, or close any position directly in your brokerage account at any time. Closing or overriding a position at your broker may cause your results to differ from the partner's.

Fills will not match the partner's exactly. Your order is a separate order, placed after the partner's, in a market that moves. Differences in fill price, timing, account size, position sizing, available buying power, broker routing, and connectivity all mean your results will differ from the partner's published results and from other subscribers following the same partner.

Fees. You pay PeakBot a subscription fee for access to a partner bot. PeakBot may share a portion of that subscription revenue with the partner. Brokerage commissions, exchange fees, and any other charges from your broker are separate and are paid to your broker, not to PeakBot.

Risk. Trading involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for everyone. You can lose more than you expect, and with certain instruments you can lose more than you deposit. Past performance is not indicative of future results. Published partner results reflect that partner's account, not yours. PeakBot does not guarantee any outcome, does not recommend any partner or strategy as suitable for you, and does not provide personalized investment advice. You are responsible for every trade placed in your account, including automated trades. Automated systems can fail: connectivity, broker API availability, and platform outages can cause missed trades, delayed trades, duplicate orders, or unintended positions.
